Transactional messages about your own bookings, and nothing else:

• •Booking confirmations for tee times, simulator bays and lessons
• •Cancellation notices when you cancel a tee time or bay booking
• •Reminders before a tee time or bay booking
• •A one-time verification code when you add or confirm your number

We never send marketing or promotional texts. Tee time alerts (notifications about newly available times) are sent by email or in the app only.

You are never enrolled automatically. To receive texts, you need a Skratch Golf account and a mobile number confirmed with a one-time code. You then tick the consent box yourself, when booking a tee time or a lesson, or on your profile page.

Confirm booking

We keep a record of when you agreed, the number, and the exact wording you saw, so we can always show what you consented to.

Message frequency varies with how much you book. A typical booking generates two messages: a confirmation and a reminder. With no bookings, you receive no messages.

Reply STOP (or ARRET) to any message to stop all texts immediately. Nothing more is sent unless you reply START. You can also switch texts off on your profile page at any time.

Stopping texts does not affect your bookings. You will continue to receive the same information by email.

Skratch Golf does not charge for text messages. Your carrier’s standard message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We use your mobile number to send the messages above, to let the facility or coach you booked with contact you about that booking, and to confirm your account belongs to a real person. Texts are sent through our provider, Twilio. We never sell your number or share it with advertisers.
